Biography: For more than 15 years, Peter M. Kirwin’s practice has included numerous large-scale real estate transactions for both residential and commercial properties. Mr. Kirwin also is an experienced litigator focusing on real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, and condominium and cooperative disputes. In addition to the real estate aspect of Mr. Kirwin’s practice, he also has extensive experience with complex commercial and construction litigation and with litigating matters at DHCR, HPD, Loft Board, Surrogates’ Court and AAA arbitration. Mr. Kirwin is a graduate of the University of Virginia and of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Mr. Kirwin is admitted to the New York bar and is a member of the New York County Lawyers’ Association. After graduating from UVA and prior to attending law school, Peter participated in Macy’s Northeast’s prestigious Executive Training Program. He held a variety of managerial positions with Macy’s Northeast and was a member of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Committee. Peter lives in lower Manhattan with his wife and two daughters and he is a girls softball coach for the Downtown Little League.
